Christof Kuen

Christof Kuen studied with Prof. Dr. Hans Kohlhase at Nuremberg’s Meistersinger Conservatoire, and later with Prof. Thomas Riebl at the Salzburg Mozarteum. As a scholarship member of the Munich Orchestral Academy, he played in the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. He won prizes in Nuremberg’s German Conservatoire Competition and IHK Competition, among others.

Christof Kuen performed in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra and European Community Youth Orchestra (ECYO). He has been a member of the Bamberg Symphony since 1995. Since 2003, he has played in the Berganza Quartet alongside Aki Sunahara, Sabine Lier and Katja Kuen.
