Gregor Moser

Gregor Moser was born in Innsbruck and received percussion lessons from the age of 8 with Andreas Schiffer at the music school of Hall in Tirol. After his concert exam studies at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium with Norbert Rabanser and Gunnar Fras, he transferred to the Zurich University of the Arts in 2017 as part of a master's program in the class of Klaus Schwärzler, Raphael Christen, and Benjamin Forster.
He gained his first orchestral experience with the Tiroler Sinfonieorchester Innsbruck before being accepted into the renowned Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic in 2014. Engagements at the Vienna State Opera followed, as well as concerts and tours with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. In 2018, he received his first position as 1st percussionist with the Augsburg Philharmonic.
Since 2021 he is principal percussionist of the Bamberg Symphony.
