Nina Junke

Nina Junke was born in Lüdinghausen in 1994 and began taking violin lessons at the age of 8. After her first orchestral experiences in various youth orchestras, including as concertmaster in the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie under the direction of Michael Sanderling, she began her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main with Prof. Sophia Jaffé in 2013. After successfully completing her Bachelor's degree in 2018, she became a member of the Joseph Keilberth Orchestra Academy of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, where she was able to gain valuable orchestral experience. After a subsequent temporary contract there, she is now a member of the 2nd violins at the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra since December 2020.
