Current information for the 2021/2022 season

Status: March 31st, 2022

From Sunday, 3 April, the 2-G rule and the mask requirement will no longer apply! We still recommend wearing a mask and keeping the minimum distances. This also applies to the chamber concert on Sunday, 3 April.

We are very pleased to announce that from now on we are allowed to occupy 100% of the seats in our concerts in Bamberg again! It is no longer necessary to exchange seats, you can take your regular seats with your subscription or single ticket. From Sunday, 3 April, the 2-G rule and the mask requirement will no longer apply!

To the framework concept in our concert hall:

The conditions for attending our concerts are regulated by the current Infection Protection Measures Ordinance:

  • Proof: The "2G rule": for a concert visit, you must present proof of vaccination or proof of recovery (older than 28 days, younger than 90 days). Also, please do not forget a personal proof of identification.
Children and adolescents from 6 years up to and including 17 are treated the same as vaccinated and recovered persons if they are either regularly tested at their school or are not yet of compulsory school age. A valid student ID is valid as proof. Children up to 5 years of age are exempt from the admission rules.
  • Masks: An FFP2 mask must be worn in the hall and also at the seat during the concert.
  • Access to the hall is not permitted in case of any signs of illness
  • Distancing: We are currently only allowed to play with 75% capacity of our available seating space. Minimum distances of 1.5 m must be observed.
  • Checkroom: We ask that you leave your wardrobe at the main entrance as usual. Please keep the recommended distance of 1.5 m here as well.

In case of any signs of illness, we ask you to refrain from attending the concert. Please adhere to the general hygiene rules (distancing, sneezing etiquette, regular hand washing, etc.) as well as to the signs and instructions of our staff. Please use the elevators in the house only if you have limited mobility. Only 2 people at a time can use the elevator at most per ride.

  • Concert introductions: We are very pleased to be able to offer you our popular concert introductions again. These begin one hour before each concert (7 p.m. or 4 p.m.). The foyer of the hall will open at 6:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. (if the concert begins at 5 p.m.).
  • Gastronomic offer: The catering facilities in the hall are open (including serving of alcohol)
  • Shuttle bus: We will again provide our free shuttle bus to and from the Georgendamm underground parking garage for travel to and from the concerts, and therefore cordially invite you to use it:
    Departure times from Georgendamm: 7:10 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. (and 4:10 p.m. & 4:30 p.m., respectively).
After the concerts: there will be two buses back to the underground car park (at 10-minute intervals) as well as a concert bus to the ZOB and on to the P+R Heinrichsdamm and/or main train station.

We wish you a wonderful concert evening!
