Play with us and be part of the Bamberg Symphony!

In September 2018, during the 25th anniversary celebrations of Bamberg’s Concert Hall, the Bamberg Symphony presented its first ever Audience Orchestra. Under Principal Conductor Jakub Hrůša, 100 amateurs joined 65 players from the Bamberg Symphony to perform works by Dvořák, Grieg and Brahms.

Participation was open to anyone keen to share in group music-making at an artistically high standard. Participants were expected to be advanced performers, with solid sight-reading and preferably also orchestral experience.
