Our new U30 offer for children, young people, pupils, trainees, students and young professionals under 30 years of age.

THE U30 SUBSCRIPTION

A reduced U30 subscription can be booked for each of the five regular subscription series A - E. The individual concert - with a large symphonic orchestra - costs only 15 euros, regardless of the seat category! Another advantage: the seat is guaranteed for the entire season. And: the U30 subscription already includes a U30 membership and thus makes it possible to purchase discounted tickets for every other concert in other series.
U30 subscriptions can be booked in our shop, or by e-mail or telephone.

THE U30 MEMBERSHIP & U30 SINGLE TICKETS

A whole concert series means too little flexibility? You would prefer to attend only individual subscription concerts at a reduced price? No problem! The U30 membership, which costs 30 euros for one season and can be purchased up to the age of 30, is just the thing. With this membership, single tickets for all concerts and in all four seat categories are available at a price of only 15 euros.
U30 membership and U30 single tickets are not only available in our shop, but can also be purchased online in our webshop.

REMAINING TICKETS AT THE BOX OFFICE

For the very spontaneous: children and young people under 18, schoolchildren, trainees and students can buy tickets for subscription concerts 20 minutes before the concert starts at the box office for 15,- Euro, if available.

SPECIAL CONCERTS with discount for young visitors

Children and young people under the age of 18, schoolchildren, trainees and students can also obtain tickets for certain special concerts, such as the SLAM SYMPHONY or the concerts known as "Studikonzerte", at the reduced price of 15 euros.

SLAM SYMPHONY

Thursday, 16.11.2023, 8.00 p.m.
Bamberg Concert Hall

The »Slam Symphony« is now in its ninth round in Bamberg and, as always, three award-winning poetry slammers will compete against each other to win the audience prize before the young Latvian conductor Aivis Greters performs the symphonic work. This time we will focus on Berlioz, a man about whom it was said that »despite all the eccentricity his compositions exude, he is a peculiar man, if only because he is driven by a burning, enthusiastic love for the arts, because he has blazed his own trail, and – because he is a character«. Bearing this year‘s motto in mind, his legendary »Symphonie fantastique« is a must: in 1830, the romantic fiery-head had a »fixed idea« that left its mark when it comes to setting states of the soul in music. At that time, the very young composer was in love with an actress unattainable to him. And so he composed these »Episodes from the Life of an Artist«, which of course was himself: the tale of a consuming passion, of hell, opium and madness. The almost obsessively adored one is both a wishful and distorted image in one and, in the »Idée fixe«, almost like a nightmare, always present – because this leitmotif constantly throws his soul into turmoil. It will be exciting to hear which lyrics and words will come to the slammers‘ minds!
