She was winner of the 1993 German Music Competition in Bonn, was awarded the Wiesbaden Mozart Society’s Special Prize, and was selected for Germany’s federal Young Artists’ Concerts.

From 1993 to 1995 she was solo oboe in the European Union Youth Orchestra. She played chamber music in various groups, such as the Aura ensemble, Linos Ensemble and Bamberg Symphony Wind Quintet. In 2003, as a member of Aulos ViVaCe, she won the Folkwang Prize for chamber music. From 2012 to 2014 she studied baroque oboe under Michael Niesemann at Essen’s Folkwang University of the Arts. Guest appearances have taken her to Berlin’s Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester, Munich Philharmonic and Bavarian State Opera, among others, as well as to the Bavarian Radio, Hess Radio, WDR, NDR and Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestras.

She has been the Bamberg Symphony’s solo oboe since 1995.
