Contemporary music as an »encore«: Since the season 2014/15, the Bamberg Symphony has been playing the world premieres of encores that have been commissioned by the Orchestra.

The Bamberg Symphony's collaboration with Bavarian Radio dates back to the 1950s; today they still enjoy a close partnership, the source of countless concert relays, studio recordings and co-productions for LP and CD.

Tim Wunram is from Frankfurt am Main und studied the double bass at the Universities of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim and Frankfurt. He has been a member of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra since 2011.
