Yumi Kurihara

Yumi Kurihara was born in Shizuoka, Japan. From 2003 to 2008 she studied at Leipzig’s Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Christian Wetzel, Susanne Wettemann and Gundel Jannemann-Fischer (cor anglais). She played in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. She has been a member of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra since 2008.
