Chamber Concert with the Joseph Keilberth Orchestra Academy

When scholarships holders from the Joseph Keilberth Orchestra Academy share the stage with musicians from the Bamberg Symphony, one can immediately experience just what a dynamic force music can be: in ensemble playing, in sound, and in artistic exchange. Within the focused setting of chamber music, experience and new beginnings, precision and curiosity come together and set each other in motion. It is especially in small ensembles that the sensitivity that is also indispensable in large orchestras begins to develop: a keen sense of understanding for one another, breathing in sync, and attentive listening to the smallest details. What they learn here has a lasting impact and inspires the next generation of orchestral musicians on their path. The audience can look forward to a wide-ranging programme featuring works from the chamber music repertoire. Exactly which pieces will be performed is deliberately left open and will only be announced a few weeks before the concert: a »carte blanche« that leaves room for spontaneous decisions, discoveries and musical surprises.
