VIDEO GAMES IN CONCERT

Bamberg, Konzerthalle, Joseph-Keilberth-Saal
20:00 Uhr

Let’s play: We can't wait for the continuation of the symphonic format »Video Games in Concert« and are excited to immerse ourselves in the epic soundtracks of popular games that have long been acclaimed on concert stages far beyond the virtual realm. In this exciting genre of composition, the often highly emotional music ingeniously creates atmospheric moods in the various scenes and draws the audience deeper and deeper into the action with its captivating passages. For this magical journey through the rich cosmos of video game music, we are joined by the Bamberg University Choir, among others, and once again conducted by a fixture in the gaming world: Eímear Noone is not only a conductor, but also a renowned composer herself, for example for the legendary computer role-playing game »World of Warcraft«, and has received several awards for her work. With her at the helm, we will transport the audience into the imaginative worlds of current video games and classics. There are varied musical landscapes to discover, which captivate with dazzling sounds, catchy rhythms and earworm melodies!
